It was a windy day in August. My FIRST and LAST wedding of 2020!

If I had to pick one thing that stood out from Rhea and alex’s wedding it was the the complete joy of this couple that they could go ahead with their wedding, and it can certainly be seen on their photos!

At the time there were restrictions in place that put a 30 person limit on weddings. They had a wonderful celebration anyway! With my mask on, battling asthma and steamed up glasses, I was just as happy this day arrived!

The wedding ceremony took place at St Clements Church in Openshaw, Manchester where I have shot a few weddings in the past and we met up at Fletcher Moss Park in Didsbury for some relaxed couples portraits afterwards.

It all was so different this time, with church pews taped up and a lot less people than there usually is, but we were all just so happy to get to be there.

The confetti exit was one of my favourites ever! I just love all the wonderful happiness on Rhea and Alex’s faces , no wonder one of these images won photo of the week with Bride Magazine Online.

The formal photos were a blast! In more ways than one ! The wind picked up and it became quite challenging to get these photos done but we got them ! I love capturing a few fun and candid formals along with the traditional ones. And those girls had such a laugh taking their photos 😀

We had a relaxed wander around at the park and stopped here and there for photos before we parted ways. It was a smaller wedding wedding and a short day for me, but every bit as sweet and special as a wedding should be.
