Imagine a warm and sunny September day, just as the leaves are starting to turn. It’s the perfect moment between summer and autumn and that’s when this Meols Hall wedding took place! I met this couple a few months before, in the spring, for their pre-wedding photos and I had been looking forward to this wedding since the moment I met them. Hearing bits about the day and getting to meet them was just wonderful!

I arrived in the morning where the bride and her girls were getting ready at the brides Granny’s house. We even had a moment to re-create a photo of her parents wedding day where her Mum stepping out of the front door takes her Dad’s hand. Our beautiful bride did just the same with her Dad before getting in the very cute WV camper van and making her way to her Meols Hall wedding.

The ceremony was so romantic and emotional, with lots of happy faces and smiles. They made their way back up the aisle as husband and wife to the sound of cheers and applause.

They decided to go for a sage green colour scheme, which has been such a trend in weddings, and this couple pulled it off perfectly. The colour theme flowed through all the wedding flowers, decor and bridal party outfits.

The couples shoot we split into two parts, taking some photos after the ceremony and some later in the day when the light was a little softer.

The first dance was truly amazing! The bride and groom had a choreographed bit in there that no one was expecting. It was a great way to get the dance floor going, that and the glowsticks ! If you are planning your Meols Hall wedding or South Port Wedding, please get in touch with me to see if I’m available to be your wedding photographer.
