I’m a happy wife and mum to three and we live just outside of Preston, Lancashire. We enjoy going on little family adventures near and far, especially back in my homeland of South Africa.
As a Christian, I love the concept of marriage and to me, weddings are the ultimate celebration, and so worth capturing with amazing images. My favorite weddings are when the couple has had the opportunity to be true to themselves and have all the things, colors and fun that they wanted to have at their wedding. Whether it’s a balloon arch, bouncy castle, burgers at the reception, or giant lawn games!
Am I the right photographer for you? In a sea of wedding photographers, I see myself as a fun-loving, creative, and friendly one! My past clients describe me as friendly, calming, and unobtrusive. I have 8 years of wedding and family photography experience and I have learned so much in that time. If you are booking your wedding photographer and want to have a chat before deciding, I would love to talk with you and answer any questions you may have, so please get in touch on my “prices+contact” page to send me an email or get in touch on Facebook or Instagram. @marinawalkerphoto

“I love this photo (and all the others you took)! Thank you for being an amazing photographer! We have some wonderful photos to look back on! X” Words by Katie a Longridge, Preston bride
“When choosing our photographer, we definitely made the right choice – working with Marina was a pleasure from start to finish.
The first time we met Marina was for our engagement shoot. We’d never had professional photos taken before so we felt nervous but, with Marina’s help, we enjoyed ourselves and the photos are beautiful – we knew then that the wedding ones would be perfect (and they really are). Between our engagement shoot and our wedding, Marina communicated with us really well – we knew exactly what to expect (However, never did I think having photos taken would be my favourite part of the day – more on that in a minute). During the ceremony and reception, Marina did a great job of capturing us and our loved ones without getting in the way – which the reverand and a number of our guests complimented her for.
During the group photographs, Marina was organised and ensured a part of the day that could have been stressful (based on the size of my husband’s family) went smoothly.
But, what we loved most about working with Marina was the couple photographs. Apart from seeing Matt’s face for the first time and saying ‘I do’, it was my favourite part of the day. Marina gave us space to talk (for the first time as husband and wife) and to enjoy the precious moment – she took hundreds of photos without making us feel like we were in front of a camera and the results are absolutely stunning.
We love our wedding photos so so so much and I would have one on every wall in the house if I could.
I am looking forward to working with Marina again in the future – maybe next time there will be more than two of us but, until then, I’ll be recommending her to every bride to be I know.
PS The turnaround time and presentation of the photos was also really really really good.” Words by Rebecca a Manchester bride
“What a wonderful photographer. Marina enhanced our relaxed Wedding Day. So good and easy to work with and photographs are fabulous. Would highly recommend. Xx” Words by Natalie, a cheshire bride.
